Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Steven, and I have been immersed in the world of craftsmanship since my earliest memories. As a child, I spent countless hours in my grandfather’s workshop, mesmerized by the artistry and precision that went into creating beautiful wooden masterpieces. It was there that my love affair with woodworking began, and it has stayed with me ever since.
Life took me on a different path, and I pursued a degree in mechanical engineering. While my engineering career allowed me to delve into the intricacies of precision metalwork and welding, I felt the pull of my woodworking roots growing stronger each day. Thus, I decided to take a leap of faith and follow my passion.
Transitioning from a millwright role, which took a toll on my body and family life due to constant travel, I have begun to slow down and focus on woodworking once again. I have started selling woodworking products on the side and am truly grateful for the skills and knowledge I have acquired throughout the years.
With Precision Maple, my aim is to not only showcase the projects I create but to empower and inspire starting and intermediate woodworkers and metalworkers like yourself.
